Another Samsung device caught fire and it’s not the Note 7 this time
Another phone of Samsung caught fire this year and this time it is not Samsung Galaxy Note 7 it is the famous Samsung Galaxy S7 – Smartphone of the Year.
An anonymous source working for “one of the major” US wireless carriers reported to TNW, a customer brought a fatally damaged S7 Edge and mentioned the phone blew up while charging.
This incident occurred last week after the Samsung Galaxy S7 owner left his phone at charging overnight using the original charger provided along with his device by Samsung.
The customer also mentioned this He received this Galaxy S7 as a replacement of Galaxy Note 7 by Company.
Major problem for company is, this is not the first explosion of Galaxy S7.
Last month, a construction worker from Ohio sued Samsung after his S7 device blew up in his pants and caused severe burns to his leg. Prior to that, anther S7 owner claimed his S7 burst into flames while he put into charging overnight.
Despite facing a lot of heat for its recent fire-catching Note 7 misadventures, Samsung still managed to stay afloat in its last quarter. However, another line of exploding Samsung devices could be a blow the South Korean giant cannot recover from.
