Today, Apple has bought an app development service named as Buddybuild. According to the reports, the company did not post anything about the price of this deal but it has already confirmed the reports about the deal.
In a blog post, the Buddybuild has also confirmed the deal that happened today. In the post, the company has provided the details about its team that will be joining Apple’s Xcode engineers for working on iOS developer tools.
We’re excited to share that the buddybuild team has joined the Xcode engineering group at Apple to build amazing developer tools for the entire iOS community.
Let’s talk about Buddybuild, the Buddybuild is a Vancouver based company and it will remain there even after the merger with Apple instead of shifting to Silicon Valley.
For sure, this new and recent move will help the company in improving developing and introducing apps with the introduction of a new option for developers for offering pre-order options.
It will help the company in expanding its Search Ads program and also suspending the $99/year developer fee for every non-profit and government.
Before the purchase of Buddybuild, the company has purchased music recognition and tagging service Shazam in the last month.
