With a few tips and tricks, you don’t have to be a professional to have fabulous looking makeup. Once you have the know-how, you’ll see just how just even a little bit of makeup applied correctly can enhance your features and have you ready for any and every occasion. Here are a few fun makeup tips and tricks that I can swear by:
Blush for your face type
In order to apply blush where it will be most flattering on you, first determine your face shape. Blush not only adds color but also contours and defines your cheekbones. My all time favorite is the Nars Orgasm Blush!
Make eyes appear bigger
If you don’t already own a white pencil, invest in one NOW. Just for this simple trick! Instead of lining your waterline with dark eyeliner, use a white pencil and voila… you create the illusion of a bigger eye.
Make eye shadows pop
Have you ever purchased a vibrant color of shadow that once applied appears rather dull? The key to making those colours pop is white base. Use a white eyeliner and cover your entire lid before applying the color of your choice.
The false eyelash look
False lashes can be a pain, not to mention time consuming! Here is a way to get the look without the hassle: After curling your lashes apply a thin layer of powder before applying your mascara. The one from Laura Mercier is a miracle worker. It makes youreyelashes appear much fuller instantly.
Cover those eye bags
Most of us tend to sweep a layer of concealer to the entire under eye area but to really conceal one should always apply an orange color corrector and then conceal on top to get an even tone.
